How we got our start
PLJ Builders was founded by Paul Prokhor, a hands-on craftsman with over 17 years of building experience and 14 years running a successful exterior construction company. From the beginning, Paul believed that homes should be built at a standard where precision is not optional—it is expected.
What started as a small construction crew has transformed into a highly specialized team trusted to work on luxury and architect-driven homes across Western Washington. Rather than competing on speed or price, PLJ Builders has built its reputation on embracing complexity. Our team consistently delivers projects that require deep expertise, material mastery, and an uncompromising attention to detail.
